Bobcats fall to James Madison at home

TXST WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

Texas State dropped their second conference game in a row, losing to the James Madison Dukes 81-60.

The Bobcats drop their overall record to 7-6 and their conference record to 1-2.

Texas State struggled in the first period and were outscored 18-6, unable to claw out of the deficit.

Despite the loss, graduate student guard Destiny Terrell finished the game with 15 points and 10 rebounds to complete the double-double. Graduate student forward Morgan Hill was second in scoring with 12 points and sophomore guard Ja’Mia Harris was third in scoring with 11 points.

Texas State will look to snap their losing streak Wednesday against Arkansas State. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
