The Youth Task Force along with the Salvation Army Angel Tree and Silver Bells will be hosting a Holiday event for the seniors at Springtown Villa tomorrow. The Youth Task Force is a youth-led 8th through 12th grade advisory group that provides civic opportunities for their peers in the community. The Youth Task Force said they are excited to partner with the Salvation Army to help support the seniors at the San Marcos Housing Authority. The event is from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for residents, but any teens who are interested in service hours should arrive at 9:30 a.m. to help support the event.
