This weekend is full of fun activities. The Art Squared Market will be happening from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday around the Hays County Historic Courthouse lawn. This is a perfect chance to shop small and support local businesses while Christmas shopping. I hope you come by and see my booth as well, and follow me on instagram @shannonmakesjewelry. I make Sterling Silver handmade jewelry using lost wax casting and fabrication techniques along with a ton of cool stones. I also do customs. For the second event, it is a local holiday favorite that was cancelled, but to everyone’s excitement, reinstated. Sights & Sounds starts off Saturday at 9 a.m. with the Jingle Bell 5K run. There will be elementary school choir performances at 2 p.m., and the headliner The Spazmatics will go on at 7 p.m. This year’s festivities are free of charge; have fun!
