• Plan a meeting spot for after the ceremony.
• Empty your pockets and secure your TXST ring before jumping in the river.
• Remember: glitter is litter. As you take graduation photos, help keep the campus litter-free by choosing environmentally friendly alternatives instead such as bubbles, native seeds, leaves, or flower petals.
• Tickets Required: All guests are required to have tickets to attend commencement.
• Clear Bag Policy: All bags must be see-through. Please plan accordingly.
• Parking and transportation: Plan ahead and review parking maps, shuttle services and seating details through the link provided.
• Comfort is key: Wearing comfortable shoes is highly recommended for graduates and attendees.
“The City of San Marcos will host events related to the Sights and Sounds of Christmas Festival on Saturday, Dec. 14,” TXST officials stated. “The university community should be aware of potential traffic and parking disruptions for these overlapping events. Please allow for extra time while traveling to campus on Saturday.”
