La Sociedad Mutualista Cuauhtemoc, a non-profit organization in San Marcos since 1942, is having a charity event called the Cuauhtemoc Express, which is a free community event, on Dec. 14, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at 1100 Patton Street. Enjoy crafts, hot cocoa, letters to Santa, and photos with Santa, plus Pancakes with Santa. The 4th annual Christmas Bazar will be occurring from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday at 1205 Texas Hwy 123, #203. This is a free and family-friendly event. The organizers ask that you park in the Bonham Parking Lot and walk from there. There will be free pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus in addition to vendors, music and crafts for the little ones.
