San Marcos notched their second win in a row as the Lady Rattlers defeated the Navarro Panthers 47-21.
San Marcos improves their record to 10-5 for the season.
The first quarter saw both teams locked in a defensive battle. Going into the second quarter, the game was deadlocked at 10-10.
In the second quarter, San Marcos started to pull away. The Lady Rattlers held Navarro to just six points in the quarter while the offense scored 13, giving San Marcos a 23-16 lead going into halftime.
Starting the third quarter, San Marcos continued their relentless pressure. Holding the Panthers to just three points, the Lady Rattlers blitzed the Navarro defense, scoring 22 points in the third quarter.
Heading into the final quarter, San Marcos led Navarro 45-19.
Both San Marcos and Navarro held each other to just two points in the fourth quarter but the Lady Rattlers came back home with the win 4721.
San Marcos will be back home Tuesday against the San Antonio Davenport Wolves.
