Gary Job Corps Corrections Cadet Jesus Juarez rode along with Martindale Patrolman Rick Sanchez patrolling the Martindale and surrounding area. Gary Job Corps Corrections/Security Cadets have participated in ride-alongs with numerous law enforcement agencies such as Hays County Constables in Pct. 1 and 2, San Marcos Police Department, Hays County, Caldwell County and Travis County Sheriff’s Office. Corrections Cadets performed Work-Based-Learning as Corrections Offices with Lockhart, Kyle, Hays and Travis County Correctional Facilities. Graduate Cadets are employed throughout Texas in federal, state and county correctional facilities, in law enforcement as police officers as well as private security agencies.
