GJC participates in C.R.A.S.E. Workshop

Civilian Response Active Shooter Event training is presented to the residents and community leaders in the local area by the Kyle Police Department.

Kyle Police Department launched a new Real- Time Crime Center to boost public safety and speed criminal investigations. This initiative, powered by Fusus, includes a voluntary camera registry for residents and businesses to register security cameras and helps with crime-solving. They also provided key holder information for businesses in case of emergencies. Gary Job Corps appreciates all of the attendees for joining. They have had two events with the Kyle Police Department in October. Oct. 16 Safety series — C.R.A.S.E. Training, Oct. 23rd Safety-Series-Self-Aid Buddy-Aid. We also have done two Business Watch roundtables with the Police as well. July 17th and November 7th. Pictured are Kyle Police Chief Jeff Barnett, Kyle Chamber President Julie Snyder, Gary Job Corps Instructor Captain Heather Escalante, Gary Job Corps Corrections Cadets, Chamber personnel, and local community leaders.
