Academy clinched a home playoff football game after beating the Bulverde Bracken Christian Warriors 50-14.
The Bears finish the regular season with a 4-6 overall record and a second place finish in district play.
Evan Donoso scored first for the Bears on a two-yard touchdown run before Cash Miller kicked the PAT to make it 8-0 with extra point kicks being worth two-points in six-man football.
Daniel Yates added another touchdown for Academy in the first quarter, finding Rye Roberts on the 12-yard touchdown pass to extend the lead 14-0.
In the second quarter, Yates found Miller for a 34-yard touchdown pass as the lead was extended to 20-0.
Bracken Christian was able to respond only for the Bears to strike again when Yates and Miller connected again for the 13-yard touchdown pass.
The Warriors were able to nab a safety as the Bears entered halftime up 26-8.
Caleb Armstrong scored from five-yards out before Donoso scored his second touchdown of the night to extend the lead for the Bears at 38-8.
In the fourth quarter, Yates and Miller connected for the final time on a 52-yard touchdown pass before Jaxson Shoemaker added the last touchdown for the Bears on a three-yard rushing score.
Bracken added a touchdown in the fourth quarter but it was too late as Academy won 50-14.
The Bears will host the Beaumont Legacy Christian Academy Warriors Saturday Nov. 16 at 2 p.m. from the campus of Academy.
