HALLOWEEN EVENT
There may be no safer place in Hays County to go trick or treating than the Public Safety Trunk or Treat, which will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at the San Marcos Police Department located at 2300 S IH 35.
The San Marcos Police Department is hosting the event in conjunction with the San Marcos Fire Department, San Marcos Marshal's Office, San Marcos Hays County EMS, Texas State University Police, Hays County Sheriff's Office, Hays County Constable Precinct 1 and Texas Department of Public Safety.
The Trunk or Treat is a one stop shop for food, fun and candy offering a free and safe alternative to traditional trick or treating.
The event will include food, face painting, music, drone demonstrations, ambulances, fire trucks, police cars and tons of candy.
Public parking will be located at Classic Collision, 2260 S IH 35.
