HALLOWEEN ACROSS HAYS COUNTY

Since Celeste decided to cover seemingly every event happening in San Marcos in her suggestions this week, I thought I’d expand the zone out a little further. There is so much going on this weekend, as everyone is in the Halloween spirit. You’ve got the Booda Halloween with trick or treating on Saturday from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Buda’s City Park. They have tons of games, story time and a costume contest. The Blue Hole Haunted Trail will be back in Wimberley with real-life actors helping create an immersive, thrilling experience from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday. It costs $2 per person. And if you want to drive all the way out to Dripping Springs Ranch Park on Sunday, there is the Family Fall Festival from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. with a hop-on-hopoff hayride and activity stations across the 130 acre park. Tickets are $5.
