The Bobcats are back in town and a sellout crowd will be on hand at UFCU Stadium. With San Marcos expected to be packed on Saturday, here is a guide around the town on what to do before kickoff. For starters, I recommend getting an early start to your day to beat the crowd and there is no better way to begin the morning than eating at Herbert’s Taco Hut. To let the food digest, I recommend taking a quick trip to the river, specifically at City Park, where you can take a dip and then walk to the tailgate. If you are wanting to avoid the fraternity tailgate parties - where things can get a bit chaotic -1 recommend visiting the S.C.O.U.T. Team Tailgaters in Tailgate Central closest to the stadium near the tracks. Great food, amazing people to meet up with and the ability to watch a lot of college football. For the game itself, there are two options for watching the game. Going there in person or watching on T.V. If you are watching from the television, I recommend doing it at the Taproom. Multiple televisions around the room, amazing staff and always great food. Enjoy a great football weekend.
