Texas State Athletics and CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital announced a new multi-year, exclusive partnership designating the local hospital as the official health care provider for Texas State Athletics.
“On behalf of our Associates, Medical Staff, and CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic partners, we are excited to be the Official Healthcare Partner for Texas State Athletics,” Bob Honeycutt, President, CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – San Marcos said. “CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital-San Marcos, part of CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health System, has been a proud member of the San Marcos and surrounding community for over four years, and we are excited to serve our Texas State University Bobcats in this new capacity. It is our honor and privilege to be part of the team to assist each student athlete with their individual health, injury management and recovery to ensure they can compete at the highest level.”
The partnership will see CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital provide health care services for multiple Bobcat sporting teams from football, men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball and other Texas State sponsored sports.

Included in the partnership, CHRISTUS Santa Rosa will also have NIL intellectual property rights, website visibility, in-arena digital and static signage, radio broadcast exposure and a premium football sponsorship weekend on October 12 as the Bobcats take on the Arkansas State Red Wolves.
