HAYS COUNTY CRIME STOPPERS
Each Oct., communities around the United States gather to support the victims and survivors of Domestic Violence. This year, Hays County Crime Stoppers is joining forces with local law enforcement agencies and the Hays-Caldwell Women’s Center to take a stand against Domestic Violence and to raise awareness. Throughout the month of Oct., Hays County Crime Stoppers will publish posters of individuals currently wanted for Felony Domestic Violence and Stalking Charges.
Partnering agencies include the Hays County Sheriff’s Office, San Marcos Police Department, Kyle Police Department, Buda Police Department, Texas State University- San Marcos, Police Department and the Hays County District Attorney’s Office.
Every few days, Hays County Crime Stoppers will publish a portion of the Wanted List via social media and its website. This is a community call to action to locate and arrest wanted felons in an effort to close open cases. HCCS encourages the Hays County Community to help its partner agencies by anonymously reporting tips and information regarding these suspects through the HCCS program. This cooperation sends a clear message that victims of Domestic Violence do not stand alone.
Working together, HCCS hopes to bring resolution to the crime and help the healing process for victims and survivors, which is an important piece of the puzzle. HCCS and its partners will collaborate to bring compassion, understanding and resolution to these crimes.
If you have any information regarding these incidents, the suspects, or their whereabouts, please contact Hays County Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-324TIPS (8477), online at callcrimestoppers.com or by using the P3 Tips app on your smartphone.
