The Rattlers captured a critical district win last Friday as San Marcos defeated the East Central Hornets 3-1 [26-24, 2519, 19-25, 25-17].
San Marcos improves their record to 13-12 overall and 1-2 in district play.
Senior outside hitter Brinkley Reeves led the team in kills with 23 followed by junior outside hitter Kylie Joseph with 17.
The Rattlers had eight serving aces with junior Amaya Rodriguez leading the team with three. Junior middle blocker Melayna Perkins led the team in blocks with three.
The Rattlers will be back home tonight in a showdown with the Converse Judson Rockets.
Tipoff is scheduled at 7 p.m.
