BIRDS AND BREW

As migrating birds make their way through the Hill Country, Blue Hole Regional Park in Wimberley is offering birders a chance for an early morning rendezvous with aviary biologists from SWCA Environmental Consultants to discuss our feathered friends over coffee at 8 a.m. on Saturday at Blue Hole Regional Park. Birds and Brew is an easy-to-moderate 1.5 mile hike around Blue Hole with lots of opportunities to spot the birds who journey south through our region

during autumn. You can bring your own reusable mug or use the cups provided for the coffee part of the walk, but make sure to bring your binoculars to get a close-up look. Organizers of this event request that participants wear closed-toed shoes. Weather permitting, birds-and-brewers will meet up in the swimming area parking lot for coffee and conversation before the taking to the trails.
