Cheatham Street Warehouse will celebrate its 50th Anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 20 with an outdoor street party featuring some of the biggest acts in Texas Country music.
The initial list of performers includes Randy Rogers, Parker McCollum, Pat Green, Wade Bowen, Jack Ingram, Bruce Robison, Ray Wylie Hubbard and more. The event will also feature a very special set from members of George Strait’s Ace in the Hole Band. Additional artists will be announced leading up to the concert. The all-day event will feature an outdoor stage as well as the legendary indoor stage.
Cheatham Street Warehouse has a long history of supporting young artists and songwriters. In 1975, Southwest Texas State University student George Strait and the Ace in the Hole Band played their first shows at the venue. In the early 1980s, a young Stevie Ray Vaughan played every Tuesday night.
In addition to George Strait and Stevie Ray Vaughan, Cheatham Street Warehouse has hosted artists such as Willie Nelson, Jerry Jeff Walker, Townes Van Zandt, Randy Rogers Band, Robert Earl Keen, Pat Green, Parker McCollum and many more.
