Victoria College signed former San Marcos basketball standout Jacob Brown to a letter of intent on Monday.
Brown, a 5-foot-8 point guard, averaged 25.3 points and 5.6 assists per game for the Rattlers during his senior season in 2015-16. Brown played one season at Ranger College, and will have one year of eligibility at VC.
“It’s a blessing to continue playing at the next level,” Brown said. “It’s thrilling to be able to make history at VC by playing on the school’s first Division I NJCAA team.”
Victoria College will begin competing in the National Junior College Athletic Association in the upcoming 2019-20 season.
