Michael Jackson’s unparalleled artistry comes to Austin in “MJ,” the multiple Tony Award-winning musical centered around the 1992 Dangerous World Tour in which Jackson skyrocketed to international fame, securing his place as one of the greatest entertainers of all time.
Tickets are on sale now for “MJ” for the musical’s Austin premiere set for Oct. 8-13 at Bass Concert Hall. “MJ” goes beyond the singular dance moves and signature sound of the King of Pop, offering a rare look at the creative mind and collaborative spirit that catapulted Michael Jackson into legendary status. “MJ” sold out crowds on Broadway, in cities across North America and in London’s West End… and now it’s startin’ something’ with its debut as the start of the Broadway In Austin 2024-25 season.
“MJ” will run from Oct. 8 - 13 at Bass Concert Hall in Austin, with shows on Tuesday through Thursday at 7:30 p.m.; Friday at 8 p.m.; Saturday at 2 and 8 p.m.; and Sunday at 1:30 and 6:30 p.m.
