Air One AC & Heating to host HASM fundraiser
Summer picnics in the park become memories for life when shared with friends and families while swaying to live music, munching on grilled hot dogs and sipping cold lemonade. If that doesn’t bring on nostalgic moments, nothing will.
On Thursday, Aug. 1 the local Air One Air Conditioning & Heating is hosting a fundraiser on behalf of the Heritage Association of San Marcos. Sheila and Lance Beck, owners of Air One, will be serving up hot dogs during Summer in the Park at the corner of Hopkins and C.M. Allen. Chick-fil-A will provide lemonade, hand out mini plush cows and will have their cow mascot on hand to two-step with the Air One mascot, Polly the Penguin.
Summer in the Park is a popular summer family tradition in San Marcos. It’s free and open to the public. If you’ve never experienced this live music extravaganza, bring a lawn chair and plan to dance barefoot on the grass next to the river in front of the stage. Don’t bring anything else except a few bucks for a hot dog and cold, fresh lemonade. The rest of the evening is just plain old chill time.
