TPA’s Broadway in Austin adds ’Annie’ to 24-25 season lineup

Already the biggest season in Texas Performing Arts’ history, the 2024-2025 Broadway in Austin lineup just got even bigger with the addition of “Annie.”

A longtime family-favorite, “Annie” will run at Bass Concert Hall as a season option from May 2 - 4, 2025. “Annie” joins a lineup that already includes “MJ,” “Shucked,” “Peter Pan,” “Clue,” “Funny Girl” and “Moulin Rouge! The Musical,” as well as the return of “Hamilton.” In addition to “Annie,” the season ticket holders option also includes “Les Misérables” and “Come From Away.”

“We couldn’t resist the opportunity to bring ‘Annie’ to Austin,” TPA Executive and Artistic Director Bob Bursey said. “With an already incredible season, ‘Annie’ gives Austin audiences one more reason to be part of the best of Broadway in 2024-25.” Directed by Jenn Thompson, “Annie” tells the story of a plucky orphan who reminds everyone that despite tough times, the sun is always right around the corner.

Season subscription packages are on sale now with prices starting at $235 for a six-show package and $284 for a sevenshow package. New season subscribers may add the return of “Hamilton” as a seventh show, with “Come From Away,” “Les Misérables” and “Annie” available as additional season options.

Subscriptions are available online at BroadwayInAustin.com or by calling 800-731-SHOW (7469); Monday through Friday between the hours of 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
