CITY OF SAN MARCOS
For the second year in a row the city of San Marcos is accepting applications for its Univer-City program. Originally launched in Spring 2023, UniverCity gives residents a behind the scenes look at City Hall.
San Marcos resident Christina Casas-Moreno attended last year’s eight-week course, and said UniverCity is a great opportunity to improve awareness and understanding of what the city of San Marcos does for the community.
“It is a great opportunity to integrate with the city and build a trusting relationship,” Casas-Moreno said. “This builds that bridge and relationship with the city.”
Participants will have the opportunity to see presentations from elected officials and staff that discuss the resources, programs, and services departments provide to residents.
