Halloween is just around the corner and the city of Kyle has announce a lineup of spooktacular events.
The Kyle Center Street Trick or Treat is at Mary Kyle Hartson City ‘Scare’ Park on Saturday, Oct. 28 ffrom Noon to 3 p.m. This family-friendly event is free and provides a safe opportunity for trickor- treating from local businesses and organizations set up around the park.
Free Halloween photos will be offered inside the Krug Activity Center.
Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the following age groups at the following times:
Ages 0-5 years old / Start Time-12:45 p.m.
Ages 6-12 years old / Start Time-1:15 p.m.
Ages 13-18 years old / Start Time -1:45 p.m.
Ages 19 and up / Start Time - 2:15 p.m.
Group of 2 or more / Start Time -2:30 p.m.

The 2nd Annual Halloween Boo-gie Dance for People with Disabilities is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 27 starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Gemstone Palace, 1101 Bunton Creek Rd. This Halloween- themed dance party will feature a DJ, music, S.W.A.G bags, raffle prizes and fun. Registration is required to attend. Admission is free. To sign up, visit TeamSideline.com/Kyle. Be sure to register early. Due to occupancy limits, the number of participants will be capped to 300 people.
Participants requiring assistance must be accompanied by a parent, caregiver, or any individual providing assistance.
Both the participant and individual providing assistance must register and will be counted toward the total capacity number.
Halloween costumes are encouraged but not mandatory.
