Intense area drought should require local sacrifices made by all

The number of people who are still watering their grass is very distressing.

The number of people who are still watering their grass is very distressing.

I see the tell-tale green when I am walking or driving around.

Do they think they can hide what they are doing by doing it at night?

Why does nothing happen to them?

I would volunteer and I am sure other retired people would be glad to gather information, addresses and pictures, and pass it on to the city and let them defend what they are doing.

If they are using it to feed goats, etc., there should still be a fine.

The aquifer is very low, the river is extremely low; there is nothing going to change any time soon.

Wake up people. Your green grass is not going to prevent a fire like Maui.
