San Marcos Police are seeking an Anglo or Hispanic man believed to be in his 20s in connection with the armed robbery of a local convenience story Tuesday night.
The man walked into the Sac-N-Pac Valero at 1420 Old Ranch Road 12 at approximately 10 p.m. wearing a red hoodie, red pants, glasses and a flat bill cap.
He reportedly waited until the store was clear of other customers before approaching the cashier and pretending to buy an item. But as the cashier was attempt to ring up the sale the suspect pulled a gun and a “crumpled up” plastic bag. The suspect escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot to a car parked on Sarah Street that then took off towards Holland Street.
The car was described as white or silver and possibly a Pontiac Grand Am, newer model.
