Billy Ray Strain

Billy Ray Strain, 91, of Pflugerville, died peacefully in his sleep on Jan. 1, 2019. Bill was born in Aransas Pass, Texas on Oct. 11, 1927, the only child of Roy and Jewel Strain. There will be a Time of Remembrance for Bill on Saturday, Jan. 12 at Morelia’s Mexican Grill on Interstate 35 in Round Rock from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Bill is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rev.  Sherry Strain, of Pflugerville; three sons, Michael Strain (Sylvia); Mark Strain; James Strain; and a daughter, Lisa Sheppard (Daniel). He leaves six granddaughters, Rachel Graham (Scott), Sandra Hicks (Sean); Ashley Strain; Sarah Strain, Hailey Strain (Eric Locklear); and Allison Voelker (Robert); as well as 10 great grandchildren.
