The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment will hold its annual Spring Lake Earth Day Festival Saturday, April 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The festival, which will be held at the headwaters of the San Marcos River, is a free, family-friendly event that allows the community to join together to celebrate the earth.
The Spring Lake Earth Day Festival will feature a variety of activities, including:
•Educational and recreational opportunities for all ages
•Virtual reality demonstrations
•Live entertainment
•Food and vendor booths
•Discounted $5 glass-bottom boattours with donation of a non-perishable food item (to benefit the Hays County Food Bank)
