Personnel from the San Marcos Police Department, Hays County Sheriff’s Office, San Marcos/Hays County EMS, San Marcos Fire Department and the DPS were on the scene of a DPS pursuit that ended on the West Access Road between Hwy. 123 and Wonder World Drive over the noon hour on Wednesday. A pickup truck that was possibly involved in the pursuit came to rest on the median after crashing into a highway sign. Police said the subject of the pursuit was taken into custody.
At least one person was taken from the scene by San Marcos/Hays County EMS. Actual injuries could not be confirmed by Daily Record press time.
