Delfina Mendez Cox passed away on March 14, 2019, at the age of 86. She was born and raised in San Marcos, TX where she met her beloved husband who was stationed at Gary Air Force Base in San Marcos. They made their home in the Fort Worth area and were married 65 years and she now joins him in heaven.
Her immense ability to love is engraved in the hearts of those left here to cherish her memory.
Her children she adored, sons, Ray Cox and wife Debra of North Richland Hills and Larry Cox and wife Karen of Keller, daughter, Dianna Sanders and husband Shane of Hurst, several grandchildren and greatgrand children; her sisters, Dolores White and husband Robert of Dallas, Mickey Marroquin of Waco, Becky Sierra and husband Albert of San Marcos, brother, Ronnie Mendez of San Marcos, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Ray Cox, daughters, Cynthia Anne Cox, Susan Diane Cox, Terry Anne Cox-Helms and grandson, Bradley Waltermire.
Funeral Service were held on Thursday March 20, 2019, at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville, TX where she was laid to rest at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
