To the Editor:
If you like great free music entertainment, the San Marcos Summer in the Park concerts have begun. After an absence because of the covid, the concerts are beginning again, every Thursday evening. I attended the one this past Thursday with the greatest rockabilly band called, The Georges. The evening was cool, the music GREAT. The band played a large variety of songs and the one that brought out lots of dancers was the song La Bamba. The crowd clapped their hands, stomped their feet and kept time to all the music. If you are looking for free entertainment, bring your lawn chairs and be prepared for a fun evening. Every Thursday at the San Marcos Plaza Park from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Thank you to the Parks and Recreation Department, San Marcos Performing Arts and others involved in these great shows. I am already planning for next Thursday's show!
