The first week of the playoffs has flown by as the teams either celebrated winning the trophy or were sent home.

Strong fourth quarter rally pushes Lady Rattlers over Austin High
Using a 12-0 run in the fourth quarter, San Marcos toppled area powerhouse, the Austin High Maroons, 45-34, as the Lady Rattlers improved to 4-0 on the year.

Following a tough loss to Coastal Carolina last Saturday, the Bobcats were back on the field looking to regroup as Texas State will face off with rival Arkansas State.

San Marcos opened up the 2023-2024 season in exciting fashion as the Rattlers defeated the San Antonio Southwest Legacy Titans, 63-57, in overtime.

Bobcats blow out Bowling Green to move to 2-0
In one of the biggest wins of the season up to this point, Texas State knocked off the Bowling Green Falcons, a 30 win team from a season ago, en route to a 74-48 win as part of the Sun Belt-Mid American Conference Challenge.

Texas State was unable to overcome a 31-10 hole as the Bobcats fell to the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, 31-23.
