Through the cooperation of Community Action, the city of San Marcos and Promise-Land Church, in excess of 100 car seats were distributed to families with children in need. Families needed to register in June during Children’s Awareness Month. Children and families got their seats on July 8 at the Bonham Prekindergarten School.

Above, many residents may be unaware that there are multiple opportunities to experience all that San Marcos has to offer beyond dropping a tube in the river. Snorkeling is an activity that is low in cost but offers such benefits as swimming side by side with turtles. Left, clear waters meet the sky at The Meadows Center.

Court considers a new audit request
