Gary Job Corps students visit Texas Legislature

Students from the Gary Job Corps Center Student Government Association and staff members job shadowed the Texas Legislators as part of the National Job Corps’ Job Shadow Day initiative. Rep. SGA students toured the Texas Capitol and visited with the office of Texas House Representative John Cyrier, speaking with his Chief of Staff MeLissa Nemecek, who briefed the group on the operation of the Texas House, the process of lawmaking and a history of the Legislature.
