Main Street Program collecting old depictions of downtown

The Hays County Courthouse was abuzz with activity Wednesday afternoon as citizens brought by hundreds of old photographs for the Historic Photo Round Up sponsored by the Main Street program.
“With so much growth downtown, many new occupants of buildings have asked us about the history of several of the buildings,” Samantha Armbruster, Main Street director, said.
 

Judge allows plaintiffs to visit range

Plaintiffs in a lawsuit against the County Line Shooting Range will get the opportunity to visit the range to inspect recent improvements, District Judge Bruce Boyer ruled in a hearing Wednesday.
According to the order Boyer signed, they will be able to visit the range, which straddles the Hays-Comal county line, before it opens on Saturday or Sunday.
