Fraternity members represent Texas State at national, international convention

Texas State University students Ashley Childs, Whitney Vrba and Jessica Jordan represented Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity’s Theta Psi Chapter at the organization’s 52nd National and 41st International Convention in Los Angeles, June 25-29. Ashley serves as her chapter’s president, Whitney serves as her chapter’s scholastic chair and Jessica serves as the vice president of programming.
The three delegates joined more than 800 ZTA collegiate and alumnae members and National Officers at the biennial convention, including the Fraternity’s legislative body, which consists of delegates from 163 collegiate chapters and 236 alumnae organizations.
Members attended programs on Zeta Tau Alpha’s brand, recruitment and retention, and the Fraternity’s newest educational programs. The Fraternity launched Crowning Achievements, its new academic achievement program, and Behind Happy Faces, a program addressing mental health.
