MAES fundraiser set

Texas State University’s Society of Mexican American Engineers and Scientists strives to increase the number of Mexican Americans in science and technology fields. The group will host a barbecue fundraiser at O’Reilly Auto Parts from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 2 to raise money for the Science Extravaganza for San Marcos CISD students on April 18. Mayor Daniel Guerrero proclaims a special day for MAES in support of the events.
