Just keep swimming: Schlitterbahn hosts free swimming lesson, participates in attempt to break Guiness World Record
Taking a dip in the pool is an easy way to cool off during the scorching summer months. But drowning is the second leading cause of unintended, injury-related death for children ages one to 14. Research also shows that if a child doesn’t learn to swim by the third grade, they likely never will.
In an effort to bring awareness to swimming safety, Schlitterbahn Waterparks hosted a free swimming lesson from 9:30 to 10:30 this morning.
