Hs Softball: SMHS rolls past Converse-Judson

When San Marcos took the field Tuesday night against Converse-Judson, it wanted to recreate success it had from the three of its first four games of its own tournament last weekend, rather than the last two.

During those tilts, the Lady Rattlers’ offense moved like a well-oiled machine and they pounded opponents into submission. That wasn’t the same scenario for the final two games of the tournament, which saw San Marcos struggle to find its offensive stride and only score two runs.

Even though the first two innings of the game with the Lady Rockets mimicked the latter, rather than the former, the Lady Rattlers picked it up to hand Judson an 8-5 loss.
