Hilario ‘Cobby’ Cobarruvias

Hilario “Cobby” Cobarruvias, 67, of San Marcos, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2013.
He was born to Jose Cobarruvias and Elisa (Urdiales) Cobarruvias on June 4, 1945 in New Braunfels.
Cobby served in the U.S. Air Force, including one tour in Vietnam. He enjoyed playing golf and was a fan of Longhorn sports and horse racing. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and grandsons.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Linda; daughters Andrea Cobarruvias of San Marcos and Amanda Cobarruvias Perryman and husband Brandy of Dallas; son Nicolas Cobarruvias and wife Anna of Los Angeles, Calif. and grandsons Gavin and Luke Perryman.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Virginia Cobarruvias and Delia Cobarruvias Partida.
The family would like to thank Michelle Carbajal, Val and Yolanda Almendarez and Denise Almendarez for their lifelong friendship, love and support.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 19 at Thomason Funeral Home, 2001 Ranch Road 12, in San Marcos.
A Memorial service will follow at 7 p.m.
Ben Horny, brother-in-law of the deceased, will officiate the services.
