College Baseball: Bobcats look for first road win at No. 11 Oregon

The Texas State baseball team will continue West Coast road swing against another ranked opponent tonight and tomorrow, as the Bobcats open a two-game series at No. 11 Oregon. Both games start at 8 p.m.

Texas State is still looking for its first road win of the season after dropping a three-game set at No. 4 Oregon State last weekend. Texas State lost the opener, 14-6, followed by losses of 6-3 and 6-4.

The Ducks (13-6) dropped the first two games in weekend’s home series against second-ranked Vanderbilt before bouncing back with a 7-5 win on Sunday.
Oregon is hitting .224 as a team led by junior infielder Ryon Healy, who is batting .375 with 13 RBIs and two home runs.

Texas State, by comparison, owns a team batting average of .240, with six players hitting above
