Gaye Ann Cruz of New Braunfels, passed away at 12:10 p.m., June 29, 2014 after a lengthy illness. She was born in November 1956 in Borger to Alan and Lena “Lynn” Gardner.
Raised in Odessa, she attended and graduated from Permian High School.  After making a profession of faith and baptism, she remained faithful to the Lord and her church. At the age of 32, Gaye met the love of her life, Mando Cruz of San Marcos. They were married Sept. 6, 1992 and they spent 25 wonderful years loving each other wholeheartedly.
Gaye enjoyed gardening, was an avid reader, loved fishing and spending time with her family.  She spent the majority of her time teaching her grandkids to love the Lord and respect each other.  We will all carry your voice, scriptures, love and laughter in our hearts.  You will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered as a daughter, wife, mother, Nana, aunt and friend.
