If you haven’t seen many narwhals, unicorns, purple parrots, three-eyed green women or elephant boys around San Marcos, you aren’t looking in the right place.
Fortunately, that’s easy to do. All those creatures, in addition to some bona fide celebrities, local characters, landscapes and beloved pets make it into Furly Art, the enterprise by which 40-year-old longtime local resident Furly Travis is actually making a living.
