The art of power snacking

As my coworkers can probably tell you, I’m always the one opening a granola bar or crunching on an apple, or saying, ‘I need to go to lunch right now, or I’m going to pass out!’
I am one of those people who cannot go very long without food, especially in the morning. My low blood sugar will strike when I neglect to eat enough protein for breakfast, or think I am Superwoman and can make it to 1 p.m. without eating.
I really can’t.
So therefore, I try to make sure I have plenty of snacks with me during the day, and not just snacks, but protein and energy-filled snacks that will keep me going throughout the day.
I have a difficult time finding snacks that will keep me from feeling faint or weak toward the middle of the day, but here are a few that will. Don’t forget to pack a cooler to bring them to work!
