Safari Greg asked for the quickest kid in the audience and Dakota Turk volunteered. Greg says Turk can’t outrun a caiman, but all he has to do is run faster than his companions.

Carter asks participant Katherine Aylott to sit on a basket with an egg in it and see if it’ll hatch the bird inside.
Instead of a bird, a live milksnake was inside the basket.

Safari Greg showed up at the San Marcos Library yesterday to show the kids of San Marcos some tricks, magic and live animals. Safari Greg, also known as Greg Carter, works with the Austin Zoo and Animal Sanctuary, which assistes animals through rescue, rehabilitation and education. Carter has performed his show in 46 states as well as three foreign countries and does more than 250 a year.
