College Volleyball: Bobcats scratch a 17-year itch

When Texas State last beat Baylor: Karen Chisum just entered her 17th year as head coach, Chisums current players could barely walk (let alone hold a volleyball) and Bill Clinton was on the verge of being elected to his second term as President of the United States. In other words, it had been a while since the Bobcats handed the Bears a loss.
Well, the wait ended Tuesday inside Strahan Coliseum.
Texas State, confident from one of the best starts in school history, steamrolled Baylor in front of 1,014 fans. A sweep was in the Bobcats sights until they dropped the third set, but in all, theyll take a 3-1 win.
