If at first you fall, get up and try again.

After the defense topped the offense in Tuesday’s spring practice session, the offense came back with a vengeance.

The defense ended Tuesday’s practice with two big defensive stops, but Wednesday afternoon it was all about the playmakers.

“We always say competition breathes success,” San Marcos head coach Mark Soto said. “There’s going to be a loser, it’s a game, but what I like seeing is when one group loses I want to see them respond that next day.”
