Roadway projects under way in the city

MCKINNON STREET:  Closed to through traffic from Cheatham Street to Sycamore Street for pavement repair until Feb. 25. Engineering-Capital Improvements, 393-8130.
 
CHEATHAM STREET:  Closed to through traffic from McKinnon Street to Riverside Drive for pavement repair until Feb. 25. The road will be open to residents accessing driveways. Engineering-Capital Improvements, 393-8130.
 
WOODS STREET:  Eastbound lane closed between Guadalupe and N. LBJ Drive until March 8. Texas State University, 245-2202.
 
NORTH LBJ DRIVE:  Northbound lane into campus closed until Feb. 28. Texas State University, 245-2202.
 
AIRPORT DRIVE:  Intermittent lane closures from Hwy. 21 to the Commemorative Air Force hangar from Feb. 25 to March 6 for milling and asphalt overlay. Public Services – Transportation, 393-8036.
 
READ STREET:  Traffic will be reduced to one-way southbound from Sessom Drive to Moore Street from until March 8 (7 a.m. – 5 p.m.) during construction. Student crossings will be maintained at all times. Texas State University, 245-6198.
 
LONG STREET:  Water line installation from until March 8.  Two-way traffic will be maintained and flaggers will direct traffic during service connections to businesses.  Engineering-Capital Improvements, -393-8130.
 
SHORT STREET:  Westbound lane will be closed until March 8 for water line installation.  Engineering-Capital Improvements, 393-8130.
 
SESSOM DRIVE:  Traffic will be reduced to two lanes until March 15 for Phase I of Sessom Drive wastewater line construction project along Sessom Drive between University and Peques Street and until April 14 between Peques and N. LBJ. Pedestrian detours will be designated.

NORTH LBJ DRIVE:  Northbound lane between E. Holland Street and Elm Hill Court will be closed until mid-April for street widening work and curb and utility construction.  Northbound traffic will detour on E. Holland to Meadow Parkway to Elm Hill Court.  Engineering-Capital Improvements, 393-8130.
 
EAST SAN ANTONIO STREET:  Half a block closed from the alley to N. LBJ every Saturday from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. for the Farmers Market on the Square.  Main Street Program, 393-8430.

• HUTCHISON STREET:  Westbound lane from CM Allen Parkway to N. LBJ Drive until June 14. Engineering-Capital Improvements, 393-8130.
