Jaimy Lamar Breihan
Jaimy Lamar Breihan transitioned from this life to his new life on April 11, 2013, just nine days short of his 54th birthday. Jaimy was born in Kerrville.
Jaimy is survived by his parents Ted and Frances Breihan, brother Stacy Breihan and his wife Michele, sister Erin Breihan-Pellien and her husband Corky.
Also surviving are many caring aunts and uncles as well as very caring nephews, nieces and cousins.
Jaimy was a beautiful, talented, compassionate and articulate son, of whom his family is very proud.
He had become a leader in the electrical field with new buildings and new technologies related to new construction.
Jaimy wrote beautiful poetry, loved Mother Earth and the gifts she so bountifully gave to him and us to protect and cherish.
His gentle spirit and love of family has been such a wonderful blessing and legacy befitting a faithful son.
Jaimy was well-read and had the insight of a visionary.
His circle of friends widened throughout this community he so dearly loved. This led to his earnest endeavor to save it from ill-placed development.
He remarked that he felt that "the Sessom Creek Neighborhood Association could do their very best to make this a community showcase of what a strong, gifted, articulate neighborhood can do to enhance its quality of life."
"Protecting our neighborhoods, watersheds, and our rivers are noble causes. Progress is slow sometimes, even though dedicated souls are working in many different areas to accomplish a common goal."
Jaimy loved his church, First United Methodist, at which his service will be conducted. It had become his power source.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 19 at Pennington Funeral Home.
Memorial services for Jaimy will be conducted at First United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 20 at 1:30 p.m. The church is located at 129 W. Hutchison, San Marcos.
