I Been Thinkin': Tourist Information Center offers volunteer opportunities

This town is full of volunteers. Lots of retired folks here who contribute selflessly of their time and energy to make this place work. There are facilities that would cease to function or would function at a much reduced level without the effort of volunteers. Some of those facilities or organizations include the food bank, the park system, the Heritage Association, Southside Community Center, Salvation Army, the women’s shelter and the numerous others I have not mentioned. One not yet mentioned is the Tourist Information Center (TIC). I plan to expand on that for the next few paragraphs.
