Heritage Association to honor McCoy with Arbor Day ceremony

One of San Marcos’s most renowned residents, the late Emmett McCoy, will be honored at a tree planting ceremony on Friday, March 1 at 5 p.m. in the Veramendi Plaza Riverwalk Memorial Grove. Sponsored by the Heritage Association of San Marcos, the Arbor Day ceremony honors a deceased, distinguished resident who made outstanding contributions to the enhancement of life in the community.
